The Center for Leadership & Service provides collaborative programs to better serve students, the campus, and the community. Opportunities and events exist to develop students to become engaged leaders in the global community."
As the only designer in the very small public university department, it was up to me to develop and help produce all of the pamphlets, posters, digital materials, apparel designs and other minutia that would be presented to the student body. I worked closely with the director and coordinators to develop each piece for their specific demographic within the university, along with closely aligning with the university's branding standards.
SELECTION OF WORK
STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT: "The Student Government Association is the official voice of the student body at the University of North Texas. As an organization, we are committed to making each student’s opinions and concerns heard in the administration."
When I landed the role of Director of Public Relations, I wasn't quite expecting to design a lot. But, after learning the lay of the land, I worked feverishly to improve the image of the student government via social media engagement and solid graphic design. I collaborated with my fellow members of the organization to organize and provide imagery for social media and print, along with taking care of the website and its own materials.
